My final impression of yale

Nostalgic say goodbye           At the beginning of the program, I named my blog “The beauty of Yale '' thinking that I would change the name later for something more interesting but in the end, the name stayed with me. Because Yale shows me its beauty in every way possible. I was not only fascinated by the architecture. That looks so elegant and old. It was like a fairy tale story. Yales also shows me its beauty through the amazing and welcoming community. The library that looks like a fairy tale and all the resources and help from the professor. These five weeks It's been amazing. I meet great people that I will miss seeing every morning, talking about our culture and laughing with them. It's so crazy to think back about my first day here and now. It's been an amazing experience. I would never forget any of those moments because I learn a lot about myself, and I meet friends from all around the world. I fall in love walking around campus and seeing new buildings t

Overcome my Fear          It was way better than I expect, the people were nice. I thought that was going to be hard to explain my poster but ended up being easy. I tried to explain the main point and the people were responding nicely, I was so excited. Even though I have to repeat the same over and over I was so happy to do it. This was an amazing experience and I learn a lot about my classmate and myself.  Without a doubt, this was an excellent and very useful activity that I will continue practicing at the university and I also enjoyed it very much seeing everybody and interacting with everyone.

On the final day  "The woman and her rifle"    This story goes back to 1848. In the town “fair village” there was a woman with her rifle. She was the most confident and fearless woman in town. She was the protector of women.  One night in town, a woman named Mireya hears a voice screaming for help. HELP! HELP! And then the voice stopped. Mireya with a sleepy face got up from her bed trying to wake up. Something strange happened. She was completely sure that she had heard something, but she was confused because the voice had stopped. She stood still to see if she would hear it again and then the cries of despair returned. And she walked out of her room into the living room to try to address where the screaming was coming from. She made sure there was no noise in her house, which would be weird since she lived alone, and then she went out to see what was happening.  She was in shock, she couldn't believe what happened in the village. She saw a woman being beaten, she tried

kehinde Wiley, portrait of lynette yiadom-Boakye --It's a woman on a mountain with a rifle, glasses, and also dead rabbits on the floor.  -She is a hunter  -The painting has dark colors and she has a straight posture, a good posture to hold the gun, she looks confident with her head looking forward.  -Behind her has a landscape of a closed city, maybe as well she is the protector of the town.  Even though this painting was painted in 2017, a looked as if it was in the Eighteenth-century because he wanted to go over the history of hunting and I found that this painting was to mark the final day of Woman's History Month.

What is home to me?

Home                                   My home in the Dominican Republic.  Walk in through the big black gate that opens to my story and my adventure. The first thing that you are going to see is a big entrance with the earth of the front yard. My house has a big patio where I played a lot when I was a child. When you continue walking you will see a cherry tree and a beautiful mango tree. The mango tree is where my family has their best memories. Underneath the tree, we shared stories and talked about life. I remember when I was a child, I liked to climb trees and pick mangoes. My friends and I played around the mango tree, and we ran around the houses. On the other side of the big black gate is my aunt's store. That store was my place. Every time that I got hungry or wanted something sweet to eat, I went to the store.  I was always in the store. In that store, I had my first ever job as a child when I was ten.  When the black gate is open, you can see a house of two levels. The fi
