The Glass Castle " A woman on the street" Reaction

            

                Reaction to chapter 1  

            At the beginning of the history we hear about the lifestyle of the woman, we hear that she is in a taxi going to a party and that she is rich, or she has money since she is wondering if she looks overdressed. And then she saw his mother, looking in the garbage the narrator didn't tell exactly what she was looking for but the face of her mother was happy, the mother seen was contained. When did I finish reading that part it surprised me, how her mother is looking in the garbage if her daughter has money that can help her? for me, it was a moment of indignation, how she can leave his mother like that. She is a horrible person. And then when I continue reading more details appear. The woman is hidden in the taxi and she asks the taxi to turn back to her house. And then I felt irritated, she felt ashamed of her mother. 


      The story continues and more surprising its gets. The woman arrived at her house and she play music and drink wine hoping that she setter down. She starts talking about how she wanted to help his mother but when she asked her how she can help them, her mother always ask for something silly. and her father always said to her that they didn't need anything. She talks about she is always worry, and that surprise if she is always worry why she doesn't do anything and then the story gets more interesting since the parents don't want her help or her money. They don't care about that. And that its what makes them so different. A daughter that has the money but is not happy and the parents who have nothing but are free and happy. 


              This is such a beautiful, well-written history and I am so excited to hear about what is going to happen in the next chapter.

My final impression of yale

Nostalgic say goodbye           At the beginning of the program, I named my blog “The beauty of Yale '' thinking that I would change the name later for something more interesting but in the end, the name stayed with me. Because Yale shows me its beauty in every way possible. I was not only fascinated by the architecture. That looks so elegant and old. It was like a fairy tale story. Yales also shows me its beauty through the amazing and welcoming community. The library that looks like a fairy tale and all the resources and help from the professor. These five weeks It's been amazing. I meet great people that I will miss seeing every morning, talking about our culture and laughing with them.
