The beauty of Yale

 

My first impression of yale



           During my first time at yale, I fell in love with architecture, it was so precious to me. It was as if  the building was telling us a really interesting story. Every place that I look at it kept my eyes on it and I just wanted to take a picture to capture its beauty. Yale has a lot of amazing places and history and I am so excited to learn about it. Every place looks so elegant and old, it's like the building was created a decade ago and in reality, I found out that it is not, and I could not believe it. How they created such a beautiful place looks old, it's like magic. 

    

          Every place that you look at has such an amazing history behind it. For example in the photo above, this is a water fountain if you look closer you are going to see a number around it. An interesting fact is that actually one of the students of Yale created this masterpiece. The dates that are around the water fountain it is the year and the number of women that we're able to study and get a degree from a University, you can see how in the beginning it was like 4 or 5 women and how the number of women gets bigger with the years. I was so fascinated by the way that they created it and the history behind it. 

  Every campus and place at Yale has its own beauty. Their own history, it that is what makes it so interesting and unique.  




        At first I didn't like to walk so much because it made me tired, and now I want to go for a walk and explore the campus with friends, taking photo and talking. In just a few days I meet amazing people and make friends. And I learned a lot about different cultures, countries and languages, I am very fascinated.


          I am looking forward to continuing learning and falling in love with Yale.

My final impression of yale

Nostalgic say goodbye           At the beginning of the program, I named my blog “The beauty of Yale '' thinking that I would change the name later for something more interesting but in the end, the name stayed with me. Because Yale shows me its beauty in every way possible. I was not only fascinated by the architecture. That looks so elegant and old. It was like a fairy tale story. Yales also shows me its beauty through the amazing and welcoming community. The library that looks like a fairy tale and all the resources and help from the professor. These five weeks It's been amazing. I meet great people that I will miss seeing every morning, talking about our culture and laughing with them. It's so crazy to think back about my first day here and now. It's been an amazing experience.
